The Boulder Arts & Crafts Gallery will feature the work of award-winning plein air watercolor artist Ruth Wilson. Her work is atmospheric and evokes her distinct, emotional impressions of a landscape. She plunges into a scene and her paintings display the feel and energy of the place. Recently relocated to this area from the east coast, Wilson has been the recipient of over 100 awards and is collected both privately and in museum collections. Bruce Campbell transforms found steel objects, unusually large and rusty objects, into mystical, captivating painted sculptures. Bruce has made Boulder County his home for over 20 years and is known for his cheerful demeanor and carefully painted rusted sculptural beings that can be found in many collections both private and public. Campbell will be painting and discussing his work on the threshold of the Boulder Arts & Crafts Gallery during the reception, weather permitting.
