Tree Bernstein will speak about and sign "The Last Tourist in Bali" on Thursday, April 30th at 7:30pm.

About the Book:
Bali, through the expat, painterly eyes of Tree Bernstein, flows from colorfully strange into a suite of real lives — Balinese villagers, Muslim teak smugglers, gay expats, murdered divas — lives full and lost, ugly and rich, passionate and bored. And always, art. Like Gauguin, the lost search for it among clove-scented air and nuclear sunsets, when it was everywhere all along. ["The Last Tourist in Bali" is] a remarkable remaking of the exotic into the true. — James P. Lenfestey, author of "Seeking the Cave"

Tickets to attend are $5 and are good for $5 off the author’s featured book or a purchase the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased now at the store, over the phone, or at the door. Readers Guild Members can reserve seats for any in-store event.
