Crystal Joys was started in the 1980s by Joy Renee Dudley, a Reiki Master and Spiritual Healer. It was originally a "traveling" store that would pop up at Renaissance Festivals and Psychic Fairs across the country and earned a name for itself due to the unique handcrafted gemstone jewelry. In 2014 Joy's daughter re-opened the stores in "brick and mortar" retail locations to continue the legacy of selling beautiful and rare semi-precious stones and minerals that bring "Joy" to people's lives and homes.
