Hey Boulder!

How is it already almost the end of June? The summer months are flying by! To help you make the most out of your summer break, I have created a summer bucket list of must-do events in and around downtown Boulder.

Starting off strong we have Boulder County’s premier outdoor summer concert series, and let me tell you it is a blast! This year, we are hosting 8 weeks of free concerts for you to be able to enjoy incredible performances on our iconic 1300 block of Pearl Street. This has become an historic summer tradition here in Boulder and for good reason. Be sure to check out our full 2023 musical line-up

Run (jog, skip or walk) a mile then stick around for a free movie under the stars! This is a great way to get downtown, spend some time outdoors, and meet members of your community.

The West End Mile is on June 22nd followed by a viewing of Top Gun Maverick. The East End Mile is on July 13th followed by an outdoor movie night featuring short films and a Q&A withlocal filmmakers. Last but not least is the Pearl Street Mile on August 5th followed the following week (August 10th) with a showing of of Inside Out by Disney Pixar.

What’s a better summer activity than listening to incredible music in our gorgeous downtown district? Each season, the City of Boulder presents signature Arts in the Park performances to provide opportunity for community engagement with the arts. This summer, enjoy performances from the Boulder Symphony at the Glen Huntington Bandshell and the Boulder Opera. The Boulder Symphony will perform on July 4th and the Boulder Opera will perform on July 29th.

With only a few, short months left of summer, I can’t wait to make the most of the warm weather and enjoy the outdoors at these incredible events! Be sure to head downtown and create amazing memories with your loved ones this season.

See you there!

Rebecca
