Downtown Boulder Dash Sweepstakes Official Rules

Eligibility
Who Can Enter: Open to legal residents of Colorado who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Who Cannot Enter: Employees, officers, and directors of the Downtown Boulder Partnership (DBP), participating businesses (owners and employees), their immediate family members, and household members.
This promotion is a game of chance. Winners are selected at random. No skill, judgment, or purchase is required to participate.
Promotion Period
Start Date and Time: Begins on November 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM Mountain Time (MT).
End Date and Time: Ends on December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM MT.
How to Enter
1. Entry by Collecting Stamps on Dash Card
Obtain a Dash Card: Available at participating businesses or at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center (1303 Pearl Street, Boulder) - open seven days a week from 11 am - 4 pm.
Earning Stamps: Visit participating businesses and request a stamp with purchase.
Bonus Stamps: Attend Downtown Boulder sanctioned holiday programming, including: Cookie Crawl, Switch on the Holidays, St Nick on the Bricks, Snowflake Express Train rides and the Lights of December Parade to receive additional stamps. Visit the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center for your stamp during any of the events.
Dash Card Entries: Each Dash Card can be valued up to a maximum of 40 entries:
- One stamp is equivalent to one entry.
- Dash Card has a maximum of 10 stamps (10 entries).
- Stamps from more than one area in Downtown Boulder multiply the number of entries by 1, up to a
maximum of 4 times.
- List of areas in Downtown Boulder: Pearl Street, West End, East End and Off the Bricks
Entry Submission:
For Weekly or Grand Prize Entry (1 Stamp Required):
- Submit your Dash Card with at least one stamp.
- How to Submit:
Drop off in drop box at Visitor Information Center (VIC) at 1303 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302
during public hours by dropping Dash Card in drop box at any participating business location listed on
the Downtown Dash webpage.
Deadline: All entries must be received or postmarked by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 31, 2025.
2. Alternative Method of Entry (No Purchase Necessary)
Mail-In Entry (Valid for Colorado residents only):
- Hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, phone number, and email address on a 3" x 5"
postcard.
- Indicate which prize drawing you are entering:Write "Gift Card Entry" or "Grand Prize Entry" at the
top of the postcard.

Deadline: Mail-in entries must be post-marked no later than Wednesday, December 31, 2025 and received no later than Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
Mail-in entries are treated the same as in-person entries and are eligible for all applicable drawings with the same number of entries and equal odds of winning.
Prizes
The total approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes to be awarded is $2,400.
Weekly Prize Drawing - Gift Cards
Eligibility: Open to participants who submit an entry with at least one stamp or a mail-in entry marked "Gift Card Entry."
Prize Details: Gift card (or certificate) valued at $100 to a Downtown Dash participating business of winner’s choosing.
Number of Prizes: Five (5) - $100 gift cards (or certificates) will be awarded.
Grand Prize
Eligibility: Open to participants who submit an entry with at least one stamp or a mail-in entry marked "Grand Prize Entry."
Prize Details: A grand prize package valued at approximately $1,900, including a $500 Downtown Boulder gift card, products, gift cards, and experiences from participating businesses.
Number of Prizes: One (1) grand prize will be awarded.
Winner Selection and Notification
Selection Process: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.

Grand Prize Winner: January 13, 2026
Notification: Winners will be notified via email or phone within [7] days of the drawing.
Claiming Prizes: Winners must respond within [7] days of notification. If a winner does not respond, an alternate winner will be selected.
Prizes must be claimed in person. If a winner is unable to claim in person, they may authorize a designated representative to collect the prize in person. Prizes will not be available for mailing. If a winner designates a representative to claim their prize, such authorization must be provided in writing (email is acceptable) prior to pick-up.
Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to request valid government-issued identification before awarding any prize.
Odds of Winning
Depends on the total number of eligible entries received for each prize category. All entries have an equal chance of winning.
General Conditions
Release of Liability: Participants agree to release and hold harmless the DBP, participating businesses, and their affiliates from any liability arising from participation or receipt of any prize.
Taxes and Reporting: All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. For prizes valued at $600 or more, the Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more must complete and return an IRS Form W-9 before prize issuance.
Sponsor will maintain records of all entries and prize awards for a minimum of two (2) years from the end date of the promotion and make them available to state regulators upon request.

Disqualification: The DBP reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.
Right to Modify or Cancel: Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except by the Sponsor in its sole discretion for a prize of equal or greater value.
The DBP reserves the right to modify or cancel the sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion.
Publicity
By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the sweepstakes and prize fulfillment and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for those purposes. Entrants will not receive marketing communications unless they have expressly opted in.
Governing Law
The sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Any disputes arising from this sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado.
