Official Rules for the Taste of Pearl Giveaway

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

 

1. SPONSOR

This giveaway ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives (DBCI), located at 1942 Broadway, Suite 301, Boulder, CO 80302 ("Sponsor"). Prizes are provided by St Julien Hotel & Spa and Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives. This promotion is not administered by St Julien Hotel & Spa.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open only to those 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members are not eligible to participate.

 

3. ENTRY PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM Mountain Time (MT) and ends on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM MT (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside this period will be disqualified.

 

4. HOW TO ENTER

Participants may enter the Sweepstakes through the following methods:

  • Online Entry: Complete the entry form available at https://forms.gle/sejsmpcaRtqiTt9Y9, including all required fields.

  • In-Person Entry: Visit the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center at 1303 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302, during the Entry Period, and complete an entry form.

Participants may submit up to fifteen (15) entries per person, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entries beyond this limit will result in disqualification.

 

5. PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive:

  • A one-night stay at St Julien Hotel & Spa (subject to availability and blackout dates, taxes and incidentals are the responsibility of the winner);
  • Breakfast for two (2) at Jill's Restaurant during the stay (Food and non-alcoholic beverage only.  Gratuity not included.); and
  • A $100 Downtown Boulder Gift Card.

The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the prize is $785. No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The winner is responsible for any additional costs, including taxes, fees, and personal expenses.  Since the prize value is more than $600, the winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9, providing their taxpayer identification number. The sponsoring organization will issue a Form 1099 to report the prize value to the IRS, as required by law. The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with accepting the prize. Failure to provide the required information may result in forfeiture of the prize.

 

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on Monday, April 7, 2025 from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via email within 10 days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 10 days of the notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

 

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

By participating, entrants agree to:

  • Be bound by these Official Rules.
  • Release the Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability related to the Sweepstakes.
  • Allow the Sponsor to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation (except where prohibited by law).

 

8. PRIVACY

All personal information submitted will be handled according to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://boulderdowntown.com/legal. 

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
  • Technical failures or unauthorized human intervention.
  • Any injury or damage related to participation or prize use.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW

The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado.

 

11. WINNER LIST REQUEST

To obtain a copy of the winner’s name, send a request to events@downtownboulder.org with the subject “Winner List Request – Taste of Pearl Giveaway” within two weeks after the giveaway concludes.
