Spring officially arrives in Downtown Boulder when the beautiful, colorful Tulip Fairy, along with pint-sized fairies and elves, parade around the Pearl Street Mall ‘welcoming the tulips’ - more than 15,000 that adorn the world renowned Pearl Street Mall throughout the spring season.
Gather at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy some pre-parade tunes courtesy of Jeff Kagan and Paige Doughty, face-painting, coloring and other children's activities. The parade will be led by Boulder's very own Tulip Fairy, accompanied stilt-walkers from Frequent Flyers and your tiny tulip fairies and elves. Join us after the parade for a performance of Waking the Bear courtesy of Open Space & Mountain Parks.
The event will take place rain or shine – except for a torrential down pour. No decision to cancel the event will be made prior to 2:00 p.m. on the day of the event. If weather is questionable, please call our Downtown Ambassadors at 303-417-1365 after that time.
Don't forget: Saturday and Sunday parking is FREE in any City of Boulder garage!
