Barker Park is getting a fresh look and we want to hear from YOU!💭 Join project staff at the park (1518 Spruce St.) this Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. to see the concept design, ask questions and give feedback.
The City of Boulder, following its goal of converting outdated playgrounds into nature play areas over the coming decade, will create a vibrant new park with natural features for kids to play, learn and grow. The renovated park will focus on early childhood play, while welcoming the rest of the community to enjoy the park space located near Pearl Street. With this project, the city plans to create and focus on:
-A Welcoming & Accessible Park Space ♿
-Multigenerational Use 👨👩👧👦
-Sensory Rich Nature Play for Early Childhood 🌸
