Your story matters—and when shared effectively, it can shape policy, influence decision-makers, and build community power. This workshop will guide participants through the process of transforming lived experience into clear, compelling testimony for public hearings and other advocacy settings. Using the framework developed by local advocacy organization One Colorado, participants will learn how to identify the heart of their story, connect it to broader issues, and communicate it in a way that is both persuasive and impactful.
This workshop is open to anyone ages 12 and up, with youth especially encouraged to attend! No prior writing experience is required—just a willingness to share and explore your voice.
