Terracotta's own Kokedama expert Bekah will guide you on how to create your very own Kokedama. A Kokedama is a style of potting up plants in a ball covered in moss, displaying them in a dish or suspended in the air.

In this workshop you will also learn how to care for your Kokedama and keep it looking beautiful for months to come. You will be given tips on how to water your Kokedama, how often to fertilize, and how to detect signs of health or distress.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home your very own Kokedama creation and walk away with a newfound appreciation for this century-old Japanese tradition of exhibiting plants to admire their elegant root system.

All materials and tools that you need, such as soil, moss, and plants will be provided. Prices will vary depending on what plants you select from the store. If you have a specific stand or holder at home, you can bring that with you to the workshop. Although we kindly ask you that you refrain from bringing plants into Terracotta to help preserve our Pest Management Protocol.
