Celebrate 47 years of independent, community-powered radio with KGNU at our Birthday Bash — part of Radio Week 2025!

This festive evening features a dance party with your favorite KGNU DJs, a specialty GNUgroni cocktail, birthday cake, and a silent auction filled with local goodies. It’s a chance to connect with the KGNU community and celebrate the vibrant culture we’ve built together since 1978.

Bring a friend — and introduce them to the power of community media! KGNU staff and volunteers will be there sharing their stories and showing you how to get involved, whether it’s on the mic, behind the scenes, or in the community.
