Let’s play with color! Have you wanted to make a watercolor painting but never known where to begin? Or you know where to begin but want inspiration to keep going? In this class, we will paint from life and you will learn 3 foundational watercolor practices that have endless potential. You will have the chance to make a few watercolor postcards. This is a judgment-free zone and a space to play and practice our hand-eye coordination together.
The exercises taught in this class make a great daily meditation practice and could be put to use for foundational drawings, paintings or other creative expressions. These painting exercises also connect you to the wise, intuitive part of your brain and can help you make beneficial changes in your life. Connect to plants and your inner knowing through this practical creative exploration.
Celebrate the beauty of plants by taking time to notice their details. All levels and all ages are welcome. I will supply tea, watercolor ink and watercolor paper. Feel free to bring your own additional supplies or sketchbook if you would like, but not needed. Bring yourself and your curiosity and activate your creative potential in a fun community setting!
