Begin the new year with an afternoon of brilliance, elegance, and musical fireworks as Boulder Symphony welcomes acclaimed violinist Linda Wang.
The program opens with Johann Sebastian Bach’s radiant Violin Concerto in E Major, a work of effortless beauty and virtuosity that has delighted audiences for centuries. Linda Wang then takes center stage in two dazzling showpieces: Sarasate’s spirited Navarra, bursting with Spanish flair and infectious energy, and Wieniawski’s Variations on an Original Theme, a brilliant display of lyricism, technical mastery, and expressive depth.

The evening concludes with one of Mozart’s most electrifying works, Symphony No. 25. Written when the composer was just seventeen years old, this dramatic masterpiece crackles with urgency, passion, and youthful intensity—revealing a side of Mozart that is bold, stormy, and surprisingly modern.

Join Boulder Symphony for an inspiring start to 2027, celebrating timeless masterpieces, extraordinary artistry, and the joy of live orchestral music.
