A FREE presentation and community conversation exploring Boulder County’s Latine and Chicano history through the Resilient Roots project.
Boulder County Parks & Open Space is developing a historic context to document the histories, places, and experiences of Latine and Chicano communities across Boulder County. This presentation will share what we have learned through community engagement, oral histories, and archival research, highlight some of the stories and places emerging from the project, and discuss where the work is headed next. Attendees will also be invited to share feedback, stories, and connections that can help shape the final project.
