Join Roots of Salsa for a special First Friday experience on Pearl Street as Garage Sale Vintage transforms into a vibrant Cuban-inspired dance floor.

Roots of Salsa is an art, music, fashion, and dance pop-up fundraiser supporting a grassroots cultural exchange with artists in Cuba. This night is about movement, community, and helping culture travel across borders.

🕔 EVENT SCHEDULE

-5:00 PM – Doors Open
Arrive early, explore the vintage space, and settle in.
-5:30–6:00 PM – Cuban Salsa Dance Lesson
Beginner-friendly • No partner needed.
-6:00–9:00 PM – DJ Set & Dance Party
Social dancing all night with Cuban, salsa, son, and Afro-Latin vibes.

🎒 WHY WE’RE GATHERING

The goal is to raise $5,000 to fill suitcases with art supplies, music gear, and creative resources to bring directly to artists in Cuba through the Roots of Salsa project.
Throughout the night, there will be opportunities to support the fundraiser and help Roots of Salsa reach this goal—at whatever level feels aligned for you.
