Are you hoping to enhance your stained-glass projects by exploring new fancy materials, yet hesitant to delve into your most cherished sheets of glass? Or you've longed to incorporate the intricate beauty of rondels into your artwork but feel uncertain about where to begin?
In this 4-hour workshop we will fearlessly embrace the art of working with specialty sheet glass and the delicate craft of breaking non-flat glass. Through guided instruction, you will create small stained-glass half sunflowers from start to finish, using an array of stunning materials that inspire creativity!
What's included
All materials and tools are included in the price of the class. You are welcome to purchase or supply any of your own rondels or blown glass (bring to class on the first day)
What's not included
No food/or drinks other than water bottles are allowed in the studio for health & safety reasons.

This class session will be divided into four distinct parts:
-Cutting blown glass and rondels
Considerations of Grinding
-Advanced Foiling
-Soldering,
By the workshop's conclusion, participants will depart with a meticulously crafted stained glass half sunflower projects similar to the picture examples and full confidence to explore and manipulate specialty glass with great proficiency.

Check-in details
Please arrive a few minutes early for class to ensure a smooth start! We will begin class right on time, so arriving ahead allows you to settle in, have plenty of time to select your project without feeling rushed, and make the most of our valuable class time together.
What to bring
Please wear close toed shoes and water bottle if you get thirsty often - we do not have a drinking fountain :).
Special requirements
Any participant's age 15 and younger will need a parent or guardian also taking the class

FAQs
Where do we park?
On weekends, parking is free in the 1500 Parking Garage attached to our building. We recommend parking there for ease of access. Weekday parking in the garage is paid, and street parking is also paid close to the studio. If you don't mind parking/planning, street parking is free a few blocks away if you are willing to walk.
Is there a bathroom?
There is a public bathroom that is ADA accessible in the 1500 parking garage.
Cancellations
Cancellation Policy: Customers will be eligible for a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of the original booking date. If you cannot make your class or need the date of your class rescheduled please reach out to us 24 hours before the start of your class and we can shift/apply your credit to another class or date. Cancellations less than 24 hours before class we do not provide refunds or credit for.
