The Colorado-based songwriter's personal and succinct writing style takes the listeners through contemplative vignettes that navigate a range of topics such as, "belonging", "childhood trauma", "forgiving yourself", "systemic and politically charged oppression" and "finding true love" in all of it's forms.

Angel's authenticity is immediately felt through tales of a varied past and a cultural clash of life experiences with complex people in complex and sometimes systemic situations. His empathy and intensity is in full force whether he is screaming and wailing with an electric guitar, that earned him the moniker of a "Chicano Bruce Springsteen".
