About The Artist
There's a quiet gravity to Lewis Turner's music: a folky, heartfelt pull toward the shared experiences of love, loss, and wandering.
The Colorado-raised songwriter deals in slow folk: unhurried, honest songs that draw you in and fill quiet spaces. He was raised at the foot of the Rockies among poets, musicians, and weirdos, and that upbringing shaped an artist who doesn't just perform music, but creates something closer to a shared moment. A room full of strangers, briefly held together by the same feeling. Watch him and you'll see it happening in real time: the moment listeners stop checking their phones and start really listening.
His 2023 debut album, Of Fibre and Fixes, made the case plainly. Produced by Tyler Lindgren and Andrew Berlin, veterans whose credits span Gregory Alan Isakov to Rise Against, it was a collection of folk songs that felt nostalgic and fresh at once. Early recognition, both locally and internationally, had been building toward something. That album clarified what.
The releases that followed continued to refine a sound built on honesty and emotional reach. His June 2025 two-sided single stretched into new sonic territory, and the fall 2025 Fishin' For You EP pushed further still, a three-song set that felt like a door left deliberately ajar.
Now that door swings open. 2nd, Turner's sophomore record, arrives May 2026, the work of a songwriter fully at ease in his folk roots, exploring a widening depth of sounds and emotions: catchy, playful, and deep in feeling all at once. As Turner puts it: "I've come a long way, got a long way to go."
