Details

Trouble’s Braids is a four-piece band from Boulder, Colorado that creates dynamic folk rock with teeth. Their first EP, The Big Tourist, has been featured in Westword Magazine, Business Insider, Denverse Magazine, numerous radio shows, and a number of podcasts.

The act’s influences are broad and deep, drawing inspiration from classic songwriters like Bob Dylan, John Prine, and Lucinda Williams, as well as more contemporary acts like Big Thief, Mitski, The Decemberists, The Mountain Goats, PJ Harvey, Tom Waits and Nick Cave. The band pairs toe-tapping grooves with poetic, soul-stirring writing and just the right amount of edge.
