Trouble's Braids are a musical duo from Colorado's Front Range who create dynamic folk music with teeth. They have been featured artists at Trident Cafe, DV8, and Roots Music Project in Boulder and are excited to be part of this vibrant musical community. Trouble's Braids combines poignant lyricism, rich female and male harmonies, and great hooks with an unflinching curiosity about the dark and hidden corners of the human experience, all with a wink and a nod that invites the audience to come play. Their influences are broad and deep, drawing inspiration from classic songwriters like Bob Dylan and Lucinda Williams, as well as more contemporary acts like Big Thief, Mitski, The Decemberists, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Mountain Goats, PJ Harvey and Nick Cave.
