From rock to reggae and everything in between, Bands on the Bricks is Boulder County's premier outdoor summer concert series taking place in the heart of the city on the bricks of the one-and-only Pearl Street Mall. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition, our 2023 season includes 8 weeks of free concerts. Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars. The beer garden opens at 5:30 pm with the opening band starting at 6:00 pm. The headlining band plays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
NEW THIS YEAR: Ride your bike to Bands on the Bricks and drop it off at our Secure Bike Valet located on Pearl just west of 13th Street, operated by our partners SharedPaths Boulder, sponsored by Google.
Our concert series wouldn't be possible without an amazing group of volunteers. Join us this season to greet the attendees, check IDs, serve beer, wine or margaritas, sell drink tickets and support our community engagement efforts.
The Long Run - "Colorado's Tribute to the Eagles"
Opening Act: The Keeps
Colorado's tribute to The Eagles, laden with 4 and 5 part harmonies, the Long Run reproduces the Eagles' hits with an organic 70's sound, accurate lead guitarists, multi-instrumentalists, and a lead-singing drummer.

The Goonies
Opening Act: Intergalactic Peace Jelly
Based in Boulder, CO, this 4-piece rock band will rip your shirts and bras off with their shredding guitar solos and unravel your sense of space and time. Founded in 1985, after escaping a kidnapping by a large sasquatch, the young rock stars decided to travel through time and come light up the 21st century. While you may wake up with crimped hair, a sore neck, and no recollection of the last 12 hours, The Goonies never... ever.... say Hangover.
Hazel Miller & The Collective
Opening Act: Julia Kirkwood
Colorado-based music icon Hazel Miller has a reputation for "bringing it" whether the event is a club setting, concert, festival, or non-profit fundraiser. Her powerful voice stands out and her beautiful spirit shines through to the delight of her loyal fans. One of the tightest and most versatile bands on the scene, you get originals, Jazz, blues, R&B, and popular music, each song with the band's own flavor!
Chimbangle
Opening Act: Amaryllis
Denver, Colorado-based Chimbangle is a dynamic Venezuelan band that is achieving success with both Spanish and English speaking markets. With their rich layers of provocative harmonies, soulful progression, crisp dance routine and driving percussion, gets audiences on their feet and dancing to everything from salsa and merengue to bachata and reggaeton.
Chain Station
Opening Act: Lucas Wolf
Chain Station is a 4-piece, high-energy, get ‘em out on the dance floor string band born high in the mountains but based in Denver, Colorado. Their music is well-steeped in Americana roots with vocal harmonies that are high, lonesome, and tight. Their picking ranges from lightning-fast to mountain mellow.
The Sweet Lillies
Opening Act: Natural Motives
The Sweet Lillies' music is, first and foremost, heartfelt and collaborative. Those defining traits are given life by the quartet of musicians who make up the Lillies. Together they have combined their individual strengths to deliver powerful narratives of life in song. With their newly formed lineup of guitar, viola, upright bass, drums and ethereal vocal harmonies that float like a dream, the Sweet Lillies' music has a hard hitting original flavor with a forward-looking eye.
JJ Brown's Raw Soul Band
JJ Brown's Raw Soul Band, a dynamic and electrifying musical ensemble that blends elements of classic funk, raw soul and contemporary R&B. Formed by frontman JJ Brown, the group has become known for their high-energy performances, infectious grooves and soulful vocals. This week's event is a celebration with the Museum of Boulder of their upcoming exhibit: Proclaiming Black Histories.
Mighty Mystic
Opening Act: Sarah Banker
Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the U.S. Reggae scene and labeled by many as one of the more prolific artists to develop outside of Jamaica. He has gripped the scene with ferocious conviction and an uncanny ambition worthy to be mentioned among the greats with a unique spin on classic reggae blended with Hip Hop & Rock.
