Elana Hartman | Ozo Coffee Roasters

"Elana has worked for OZO Coffee Roasters since she was a sophomore at Fairview High School in 2019. She started as a busser assisting our West Pearl location on weekends. She trained to become a barista in 2020 during the pandemic and was an essential team member through this trying time for the company, quickly becoming shift lead trained. She worked multiple shifts a week while attending CU Boulder (graduated from Leeds in 2025) and is currently our company wide trainer). We would love to recognize and honor all of her accomplishments!!" -Nomination made by Rebekah Hartman

Richard des Moulins | Rockcrest

"I just want to take a moment to recognize Richard, Rockcrest CEO, whose leadership is nothing short of inspiring. He consistently leads by example—tirelessly showing up, believing in each of us, and pushing forward with relentless dedication. What makes Richard stand out isn’t just his work ethic (which is unmatched), but his genuine understanding, trust, and support. He sees potential in people even when we don't see it in ourselves and lifts the entire team with his unwavering belief and direction." -Nomination made by Hailey Panther

Sophia Marshall | Rosetta Hall

"Sophia joined our team two years ago as a barista. She has since moved up to lead our cafe program at Gracia. She is responsible for many of the season drinks on the menu and ALL the warm welcomes our guests receive everyday! Sophia is not only warm and welcoming she has trained many of her team members to do the same. She loves her regulars and has a passion for brewing great coffee! This is Sophia's last summer with us before she moves on to bigger and better things. We're so appreciative of how she's helped us evolve our program!" -Nomination made by Sarah Beckwith

Mandi Odermann | Rowan

"Mandi is the heart of this studio. She is an amazing mom of 2 boys and still finds the way to go above and beyond for this company. She is always striving to make our numbers even if that means pushing her lunch. Mandi is dependable and very trust worthy. Mandi is my training piercing nurse that helps the elderly have beautiful piercings again! Mandi is a mother that does it all by herself while being the best nurse she can be. This is why I believe Mandi should win this recognition." -Nomination made by Nicole Barela

Laura Greaney | Sterling-Rice Group

"Laura is the heart of our office. As our office manager, she consistently goes above and beyond—ensuring snacks are stocked, clients and consumers feel genuinely welcomed, and every team member feels supported. Earlier this year, she helped me run a high-stakes workshop and handled everything from prepping name tags and printing booklets to moving furniture and decorating the space. On the day of the event, she made sure catering was set, ran to the bakery for fresh pastries and to Wonder for juices, and welcomed clients with handwritten notes and custom goodie bags. Her care and thoughtfulness helped the project team feel less stressed and made our clients feel truly special. Honestly, I don’t know how we ever managed without her!" -Nomination made by Kaylie Young

Sara Pike | Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

Sara has been part of the BMoCA team for almost 5 years, and has worn many different hats. From exhibition support and leadership, to visitor services, to donor cultivation, to event leadership, including leading BMoCA's signature art party event, ARTMIX, the last 2 years. She has always been willing to take on new challenges and opportunities as they arise, and she approaches her work with great thoughtfulness and with an eye toward how the museum can best serve our community. One of the inspiring things about Sara is her willingness to challenge herself to try new things. This has included becoming an ambassador for the Boulder Chamber, taking ceramics classes to further her art practice, and becoming a yoga instructor. She does this all with modesty and a sense of service to herself and those around her. She's fantastic! - Nomination made by Gwen Burak and Grace Carroll

Chad Henderson| Pizza Colore

Chad was working on Sunday at Pizza Colore when he jumped into action after seeing the attack in front of the Courthouse. He didn't think twice about filling up pitchers of water, running back and forth from his restaurant to the courthouse to help a woman who was clearly in distress. Everyone would agree that Chad went above and beyond that day to help. He's a special guy.
