West End Mile
Thursday, June 22 | 5 PM | 10th and Pearl
This multi-lapped mile course starts and finishes on Pearl and 10th streets and goes up to 6th Street and back. Race kicks off with the Battle of the West End Restaurants Waiter Relay Race, followed by multiple waves: Kids 12 and under 800m, over 7-minute mile pace, under 7-minute mile pace, Elite Masters, Elite Men and Elite Woman.
Afterwards, enjoy the West End shops and restaurants and then join us for an outdoor movie night featuring Top Gun Maverick.
West End Movie
Thursday, June 22 | 9 PM | 10th Street (north of Pearl)
The general public is welcome to cheer on West End Mile participants then enjoy a FREE outdoor screening of Top Gun Maverick. The movie will begin shortly after sunset on 10th Street (north of Pearl).
A limited number of chairs will be provided, but attendees are strongly encouraged to bring your own chairs.

East End Mile
Thursday, July 13 | 5 PM | 16th and Pearl
The multi-lapped mile course starts and finishes on Pearl and 16th streets, and goes up to 20th Street and back. Waves include a kids 12 and under 800m, over 7-minute mile pace, under 7-minute mile pace, Elite Masters, Elite Men and Elite Woman.
After the race, enjoy the East End shops and restaurants and then join us for an outdoor movie night featuring short films from local filmmakers.
East End Short Film Festival
Thursday, July 13 | 9 PM | 16th and Pearl
Following the East End Mile, the general public is invited to enjoy a FREE outdoor screening of local shorts, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers thanks to the support of the Boulder County Film Commission. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring chairs to enjoy this fun night out under the stars!
Downtown Boulder and the Boulder County Film Commission invite filmmakers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to submit their work for consideration, and if selected, to be featured at the 1st Annual Downtown Boulder Short Film Festival on Thursday July 13th! Selected filmmakers will each receive a small stipend of $75. The short film (20 minutes or less) can be based on any subject or concept, but should have "something" to do with Boulder, and to ensure a family-friendly event, all films must be acceptable for a PG audience. The deadline for submissions is May 31, and there is no entry fee.
Pearl Street Mile
Saturday, August 5 | 5 PM | 13th and Spruce
The iconic Pearl Street Mile is a criterium multi-lapped course that starts on Spruce Street (between 13th and 14th streets) and completes 3.75 laps around the Boulder Court House and up the Pearl Street Mall. Waves include a kids 12 and under 800m, family & friends, 10/9/8/7/6/5 minute waves, Elite Masters, Elite Women and Elite Men.
Following the race, enjoy a lovely evening shopping and dining around the downtown district. Don't forget to wander off the Pearl Street Mall and explore all the hidden treasures "off the bricks". Then, the following Thursday (August 10), grab your family and friends and enjoy a FREE outdoor screening of Disney Pixar's Inside Out in Civic Park (near the Boulder County Public Library) sponsored by Mountain Psychiatry.
Movie in the Park

Grab your family and friends for a FREE outdoor screening of Disney Pixar's Inside Out. The movie will begin shortly after sunset on the Boulder Public Library's lawn in the Civic Area. Don't forget to bring chairs / blankets and treats!
