2025 Student Banner Project

The thirteenth annual Student Banner Project kicks off in mid-January, with 42 new lamp pole banners created by incredible young artists from Columbine Elementary School, Casey Middle School, and Boulder High School. Mediums used to create the banners range from pencil art and watercolors to collage.

This year's banner artists created their work surrounding the following theme:
Embracing our unique backgrounds makes the community stronger.

We hope that you will enjoy strolling and taking a look at these banners, which span four blocks of the Pearl Street Mall. An awards reception will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at 4:30 PM on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall (near the Visitor Information Center). The banners will be on display through mid-April 2025.

The Banner Project is presented by Boulder Arts Week , Boulder’s only large-scale, inclusive celebration of our community’s vibrant arts and cultural offerings and thriving creativity, which takes place April 4th - 12th, 2025.
