Celebrate 48 Years of Art and Community at the 2025 Pearl Street Arts Fest

July 18 – 20, 2025 | Pearl Street Mall (and 14th Street) in Downtown Boulder

Boulder, CO [July 3, 2025] – The Pearl Street Arts Fest returns to downtown Boulder for its 48th year, bringing color, creativity, and community spirit to the iconic Pearl Street Mall (as well as along 14th Street) from Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20, 2025. This beloved event is a juried festival featuring 100+ artists from Colorado and across the country, showcasing works in a wide range of mediums—from sculpture and photography to jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, and painting.

Art lovers can stroll the bricks and browse original works in styles that range from abstract to impressionistic, functional to decorative, all while enjoying downtown Boulder’s vibrant summer atmosphere. Artists will be located along all four blocks of the pedestrian mall and along 14th Street between Spruce and Lawry Lane, with something to discover with each step.

  • Friday, July 18 | 3:00 – 8:00 pm
  • Saturday, July 19 | 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, July 20 | 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

BIPOC Artist Invitational Returns
First introduced in 2024, the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Artist Invitational returns to the Pearl Street Arts Fest in 2025 with a powerful lineup of local talent. This year’s Invitational features one returning artist–Adderly Grant-Lord (booth #1301)and two new local artists–Navya Mallepeddi (booth #1204) and Bala Thiagarajan (booth #1403)  each bringing a unique voice and mastery of their chosen medium. The Pearl Street Arts Fest is proud to showcase 111 artists in total, representing a diversity of styles, backgrounds, and perspectives.

Free Art Activities for All Ages
On Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Open Studios’ Mobile Art Lab will offer free hands-on art activities and instruction for aspiring artists of all ages. Find their tent on the east side of the Boulder County Courthouse lawn.  Presenting Sponsor–Bank of America–will host a free face painting booth on the Pearl Street Mall between 13th and 14th streets all three days of the festival.

Commemorative Poster
This year’s limited-edition festival poster, “The Mountains Are Calling” by Colorado artist Silver Francis, is available for purchase as a high-quality 16 x 20 print ($50). Posters will be available at Art Source International (1237 Pearl Street) and at the artist’s booth (#1209) while supplies last. Posters from past years–dating back to 2013 can also be purchased at Art Source.

A Boulder Tradition Since 1978
What began in 1978 as the Downtown Boulder Art Fair—just a year after the Pearl Street Mall opened—has grown into one of Colorado’s premier summertime arts events. For 48 years, the Pearl Street Arts Fest has celebrated creativity, community, and Boulder’s enduring love for the arts.

Admission is Free
Festival admission is free, and parking is easy—City of Boulder parking garages are free on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, park for a flat $3 fee between 3 pm - 3 am. Learn more at PearlStreetArtsFest.com.
