Since 1987, Fall Fest has been Boulder County’s premier autumn celebration
Boulder, CO [September 19, 2025] - Downtown Boulder's Fall Fest is back to bring the community together for three days of music, food, drinks, art, and family-friendly fun. The annual event will transform the Pearl Street Mall into a fall wonderland from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Event Hours:
- Friday, October 3: 5 PM - 9 PM
- Saturday, October 4: 10 AM - 9 PM
- Sunday, October 5: 10 AM - 5 PM
This year's Fall Fest will feature an incredible lineup of live performances on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall, with sounds ranging from reggae and rock to folk and hip hop. Local favorites, including Silas Herman & The Tone Unit, Cashmere Sweater, Boulder Suzuki Strings, Mighty Mystic, 2mx2, and more will take the stage throughout the weekend. Saturday will bring the first-ever Downtown Boulder Battle of the Bands, with seven up-and-coming Colorado bands competing for a cash prize and the chance to perform at the Roots Music Fest and 2026 Bands on the Bricks series.
Festival-goers can sip and savor in the Fall Fest Beer Garden (1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall), sponsored by ALLO Fiber featuring Avery Brewing Company (beer $8), Long Drink canned cocktails ($8), wine ($8), margaritas and mules with spirits from Sol2Noches and Mile High Spirits ($10). Non-alcoholic options will also be available, including alcohol-free beer and sangria from Gruvi Brewing. IDs are required for everyone wanting to make an alcoholic beverage purchase.
On Saturday and Sunday, kids can enjoy free activities on the Boulder County Courthouse Lawn. The Fun Zone includes bounce houses, a giant slide, and an inflatable obstacle course, alongside sweet treats that will be available for purchase including mini donuts from Deborah Ann Does Donuts and cotton candy from Tasty Clouds. Parents can relax nearby with food and drinks for purchase while kids play. Most activities are free, thanks to sponsor Eldora Mountain Resort. Face painting services will be available onsite for a fee.
Fall Fest once again welcomes Firefly Handmade, showcasing more than 80 artisans during their Fall Market-offering unique jewelry, apparel, home goods and art throughout the weekend.
This year, presenting sponsor Huntington Bank is bringing the Glambot experience to downtown. Guests can stop by the Huntington tent, strike a pose, and capture a one-of-a-kind Fall Fest moment.
“Fall Fest has been part of Boulder’s annual traditions for decades, and it’s always been about bringing people together downtown,” said Anna Salim, VP of Programming and Operations. “This year we’re adding a fun twist with the first ever Battle of the Bands, while still keeping the traditions everyone loves — free live music, the beer garden, Firefly Handmade, and plenty of free family fun. It’s the perfect way for locals and visitors alike to soak up the season on Pearl Street.”
Fall Fest is produced by Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives (DBCI) and presented by Huntington Bank. Event sponsors include: ALLO Fiber, beem Light Sauna, Eldora Mountain Resort, City of Boulder, Eldorado Natural Spring Water, Daily Camera and KUNC Radio.
