Farewell for now, downtown

Category: Boulder Blog

Hey downtown!

Can you believe it? This week concludes my time as the Marketing & Communications Intern at the Downtown Boulder Partnership as graduation is happening this Thursday! This last semester has absolutely flown by, overflowing with incredible experiences and opportunities that I know I'll cherish forever. It's hard to believe this chapter in Boulder is coming to a close, but I'm so excited for what's next.

I truly can't say enough about the DBP team. They are a group of amazing individuals who showcase their dedication and passion for downtown every day. From brainstorming sessions filled with creative energy to the meticulous planning of events that bring our community together, I've learned an incredible amount from each and every member of the team. I'm so incredibly grateful to have been welcomed onto the marketing/communications team this spring and to have contributed to their fantastic work.

Beyond the incredible team, one of the most heartwarming aspects of this internship has been the chance to connect with so many lovely members of the downtown community. Whether it was chatting with business owners or simply bumping into friendly faces, everyone I've met has led with such genuine kindness. Their deep love and enthusiasm for downtown Boulder is truly contagious.

While I might be saying goodbye to my internship role, this isn't goodbye to downtown Boulder! You'll definitely be seeing me out and about on the Pearl Street Mall all summer long. I already had a soft spot for downtown before this experience, but now I have a newfound appreciation for just how truly wonderful and welcoming this community is to everyone. It's the people, the energy and the unique businesses that all come together to create something really special. So, a huge thank you once again to the entire DBP team for taking a chance on me and giving me this incredible opportunity. It has honestly been the best!

Farewell for now, downtown! I'll be back strolling along Pearl before you know it!

See you again soon,

Frankie
