Hey downtown!
This Monday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day and I am so excited to celebrate. Luckily, downtown Boulder is full of fun ways to fully embrace the holiday starting as early as this weekend. Get your green on and read along for some ideas!
Calling all Irish foodies! I plan to begin celebrating at The Corner Bar, found in the Hotel Boulderado. They are serving up authentic Irish food specials for you to fully feel (aka taste) the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. Pair your meal with a classic Guinness draft or warm up with their signature Irish Wolfhound cocktail, featuring Bushmills Irish Whiskey, cinnamon simple syrup, lemon and hot apple cider. What a perfect way to immerse yourself in the holiday.

Don't miss the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday, March 15th. This beloved local event, held on the 1500 block of Pearl Street, is a must-see. The parade kicks off at noon, featuring lively Irish dancers, bagpipers and more. But the fun starts even earlier. At 11 AM, the Beer Garden opens, offering live music and delicious food trucks through 6 PM. This quirky celebration of Irish culture and community spirit supports Odd Fellow Charities. So, grab your friends, wear your greenest gear and join the fun!
If you’re in need of green gear, check out Ragstock or The Ritz. Ragstock is a treasure trove of quirky finds, perfect if you want something fun and unique. The Ritz is your go-to for vintage vibes and stylish retro pieces. Either way, you're bound to find something to wear, whether you need a little pop of green or a full-on emerald outfit.
If you’re looking for a unique and free way to celebrate, Savannah Bee Company is hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day-themed bread tasting this Saturday, March 15th. They'll be sampling homemade Irish Soda Bread, sweetened with their very own Savannah Bee Honey. It's the perfect opportunity to indulge in a delicious, Irish-inspired treat - you'll definitely find me there!
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouseis joining in on the festive fun by introducing their new tea, Celtic Cream. This black tea blend is inspired by Irish cream flavors and it sounds delicious! Full of vanilla, cocoa, whiskey and caramel flavors - yum! This is the perfect tea to sip on after a long day of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
