Join us for a night of poetry and music to celebrate 100 years of Allen Ginsberg on Friday, July 31st at 6:30pm, at Boulder Bookstore. Tickets for this event are $5 (plus a small processing fee) and are available on Eventbrite.

About the Event:
Renowned poet Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) broke boundaries both poetically and culturally throughout his legendary career. He travelled throughout the world challenging complacency and needling governments while exploring spiritual practices. Ginsberg's connections to Boulder began when Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche requested Ginsberg along with poet Anne Waldman create a writing department for his new school, Naropa Institute. They called the school “The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics."

Join us, along with Anne Waldman, Chuck Lief, Max Davies, Carolina Ebeid, Thomas R. Peters Jr, Jim Cohn, Reed Bye, Gary Allen, Jeff Pethybridge, and others for a night of poetry and music to celebrate 100 years of Allen Ginsberg.
