Details

The practice of ikebana, or the path of flowers, is a beautiful practice and contemplative journey. It teaches us that everyone has the instinct and courage for artistic talent. Skill develops with curiosity, receptivity, guidance from a trained instructor, and practice. Learn some history and background, basic patterns of harmony and mindfulness in working with branches, flowers, water, space, intuition, and elegance.

The “Muse Makers,” composed of museum volunteers, will be hosting creative events on select Thursdays throughout the year. Our volunteer “Muse Makers” will be teaching a series of adult classes on the exploration of creativity with found materials. All adult classes will be taught by Wendy Rochman and Pati Frey.
