Scott Doniger will speak about and sign his new book, "Hijacked: Getting to Know Our Parts and Why They Take Us Over," on Thursday, August 28th at 6:30pm, at Boulder Bookstore. Tickets for this event are $5 (plus a small processing fee) and are available on Eventbrite.
About the Book:

These and many other unhelpful behaviors are examples of when Parts of our personalities – the People-Pleaser, Distractor, Competitor, or Rager – literally take us over, run our lives, and deplete our bodies.
Through dozens of real-life anecdotes, "Hijacked" reveals what Parts are and why they hijack us. Readers are also introduced to the basic principles of Parts Work, born from Dr. Richard C. Schwartz’s innovative Internal Family Systems therapeutic model.
