Hey downtown!
I hope you’re enjoying the nice weather this week. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the events calendar to see all the fun things going on downtown.
The first week of June, we celebrated Downtown Employee Appreciation Week to recognize all the people who make downtown Boulder so special. From a pancake breakfast to get our employees ready for their days, to a happy hour, and headshots in case anyone needed to update their LinkedIn profile.
We also got the chance to see the competitive and creative sides of our employees through the Downtown Showdown and Downtown Creates. The Downtown Showdown brought employees from different businesses together for some friendly minute-to-win-it style challenges. Congratulations to The Trade Desk on your big win! Through Downtown Creates. Employees were able to submit photos, sketches, coloring pages, or other artistic pieces to show off their skills and win prizes.
The author of this wonderful poem, "Celebrating the Hearts of Downtown Boulder,” received the grand prize, a $100 gift card to Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery, and chose to remain anonymous.
