Hey downtown….
The sun is finally out and I am more than excited for what's coming next…graduation and spending my summer in this beautiful city! As I walk around downtown, I can’t help but be left in awe by the scenery, follow along as I highlight some of my favorite photo-worthy spots…
- Rainbow Crosswalk

I don't know about you, but the rainbow crosswalk on the West End of Pearl Street is a total mood booster for me. Seeing the bright colors painted across the street with the Flatirons in the distance - it's just such a cheerful sight! It's like a little jolt of joy every time I cross or even just walk past it.
2. Buffalo Statue (officially called, Monarch of the Plains)

There's something about the Monarch of the Plains Statue that I just love…maybe it's because it perfectly represents my CU Buff pride. With graduation coming up this May, this sight has me feeling a little nostalgic, thinking about all the unforgettable moments I've had here. You can find this iconic statue right by the Boulder Bookstore (with its twin on the University of Colorado Boulder campus.)
3. Boulder Theater

For me, the Boulder Theater feels like more than just a place to see a show. This iconic spot has the perfect balance of history and new exciting memories to be made… especially with Sundance now coming to Boulder in 2027!
4. Murals

Around every corner, there's a burst of color displaying messages that stick with you even after you visit. It's way more than just pretty pictures; these artists have a story to tell. And get this… there's even a whole walking tour dedicated to finding them all! You've gotta check out the Mural Walking Tour; it's such a cool way to explore the city and soak in some meaningful art.
5. Avanti Rooftop

Last but not least, I love the view from the rooftop of Avanti. Grabbing a drink or some of their delicious food up there while just soaking in the views of Boulder is one of my favorite things to do. You get that amazing Flatirons backdrop, Pearl Street action – it's just the perfect spot to chill and take it all in.
That’s all I got you for this week, downtown. Hopefully you’ve been inspired to visit one of these spots or you’ve been reminded to appreciate this beautiful city you get to call home!
