Join Alandi Ashram and the Interfaith Initiative for Human Rights in Syria for an evening of art and film.
First, an art show featuring work of Syrian refugees will take place at 6pm. This artwork and more can be seen at https://syriadraws.com/
Next will be a screening of "Syria - The Impossible Revolution," made by Irish filmmakers Annie Daly and Ronan Tynan’s cutting-edge documentary, which explores the real reason behind the ongoing crisis in Syria and the lack of aid provided by the Western world. They trace the root of the revolution, shedding a light on how brutal repression began as peaceful uprisings in 2011 and how the rest of the world have turned their back on what has become the biggest humanitarian catastrophe of this century.
Following the film will be an interfaith prayer circle with noted local faith leaders and creation of action items. Donations are welcome to support Syrian-American Medical Society and also for the human rights work of the filmmakers.
Snacks will be provided by Ali Baba Grill - Boulder Ayurvedic Tea will be served, as well.
Keep up with events, promotions, openings and sales.
