Bands on the Bricks Commemorates the 45th Anniversary of the Pearl Street Mall

Celebrate 45 years of the bricks with the last concert of the summer season

Boulder, CO [July 28, 2022] –  The 26th annual Bands on the Bricks free summer concert series concludes on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 with a celebration of Pearl Street Mall’s 45th Anniversary. There will be trivia questions about the Pearl Street Mall scattered throughout announcements during the evening, with the opportunity to win one of four $45 Downtown Boulder Gift Cards for correct guesses. Additionally, the first 45 people to stop by the Downtown Boulder Partnership tent can claim a Welcome to Your Happy Place-branded water bottle. While at the tent, attendees are invited to share their thoughts and ideas about possible futures of downtown Boulder through a variety of interactive activities and short surveys that will help formulate the Downtown Boulder Five Year Vision Plan..

The Beer/Wine Garden opens at 5:30 pm. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm with opener Emelise, a singer/songwriter Americana musician from Denver. Following her act, The Goonies take the stage at 7 pm. This four-piece rock squad is based in Boulder and is the ultimate 80’s cover band. Specializing in shredding guitar solos and a good time, The Goonies will close out the 2022 Bands on the Bricks season with a bang.

Dance under the stars for the final time this year while sipping Avery Brewing Company beer, margaritas and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the expanded Beer Garden encompassing the entire 1300 block of the Mall.
