Bands on the Bricks Invites Public Engagement at Neighborhood Night July 13

Downtown Boulder Partnership seeks feedback from the local community for a Five-Year Vision Plan

Boulder, CO [July 8, 2022] –  The 26th annual Bands on the Bricks free summer concert series continues on Wednesday, July 13 with Neighborhood Night. Downtown Boulder Partnership, in collaboration with the City of Boulder, has recently embarked on a five-year vision planning process and at the heart of the planning is input from the local community. This evening offers an opportunity for attendees to share their thoughts and ideas about possible futures of downtown Boulder through a variety of fun, hands-on interactive activities and short surveys. All local residents - with a valid ID displaying a Boulder address - who participate (provide feedback) between 5:30 - 7:00 pm, will receive a complimentary ticket for a drink of their choice. (Limit one per person.)

Festivities begin at 6:00 pm with opener Mike Lamitola, an indie folk artist. Following his act, Titonic takes the stage at 7 pm. Based in Fort Collins, this self-described funk/soul/R&B band  plays hits from artists like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin.

Dance under the stars and celebrate the local community while sipping Avery Brewing Company beer, margaritas and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages in the expanded Beer Garden encompassing the entire 1300 block of the Mall.

Bands on the Bricks is produced by Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives (DBCI). It is co-presented by FNBO and The W.W. Reynolds Companies. The event’s sponsors are Avery Brewing Company, The Daily Camera, City of Boulder, Eco-Products and Eldorado Natural Spring Water. Neighborhood night is sponsored by Martha Piper.
