10th Street in Downtown Boulder

Hey Downtown!

Ready to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh winter air? Downtown Boulder is hosting the first-ever Aprés Street Fest this Sunday (March 12) from 11 am to 6 pm on Pearl Street’s charming West End. Reminiscent of “apès-ski,” this free event brings a cozy mountain town ambiance to the heart of Boulder. Many participating businesses will be lined up in tents on The West End, offering a variety of food, drinks, outdoor gear and more. Here’s what to expect from this first-of-a-kind wintertime event!

Dig into winter-themed food and drink specials from participating West End restaurants. Grab a street taco, made with chicken achiote with citrus salsa, from Centro Mexican Kitchen for only $3 to enjoy an easy snack on-the-go with your friends. Wearing a cool and trendy ski jacket? If so, head over to Jungle for a free shot (must be 21+)! For those craving a hearty, afterski delicacy, West End Tavern is offering  Raclette & French bread sandwiches, made with warm alpine cheese on a French baguette with a bourbon-bacon-cherry jam. Once you feel energized after indulging in delectable snacks, check out all of the winter retail must-haves offered by select downtown businesses.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love shopping the wide selection of winter gear to accompany their next big adventure. Browse Haven for 30% off of all sweaters, cashmere, coats, hats, boots and winter accessories. Or stop by ShoeFly to benefit from 20% off of all winter sale items and to watch Captain Chris Seiss from Pretty Fly Designs create his handcrafted earrings. Many businesses will be participating with outdoor gear deals, such as Amundsen Sports, Burton, Cotopaxi and more!

After filling your shopping bags, kick back and relax at a fire pit with a cup of warm hot chocolate. Enjoy live music from singer-songwriter Dereck Warwick, performer Phantom Phare’s Lauren Joy and DJ Davey Daydream. Indulge in some friendly competition with free activities like corn hole and ping pong. You could even bring roller skates or a skateboard and cruise through The West End via wheels!

Enjoy good food, drinks and shopping at the first-ever Après Street Fest for the best winter day downtown! Hope to see you there!

Catch you later!

Emma
