Spring Break just wrapped up, and if you’re anything like me, you’re probably already looking for something fun to look forward to. Luckily, you don’t have too look far. This Sunday, March 29th from 2-5 p.m., Pearl Street is turning into one big tasting experience for the annual Taste of Pearl, and it’s one of those afternoons you won’t want to miss.

Volunteering at Fall Fest this year was such a blast. My mom came up to visit, and we spent the day listening to Ritmo Cascabel’s cumbia set, dancing around, and checking out all the booths downtown. The face paint was a hit, the caramel apple was elite, and the glambot? Way too fun.

The first few months of 2025 are flying by which means summer is approaching! If you’re like me, you’re already putting together a list of things you want to do. If you need a little inspo, I have some ideas to share with you. And if you can't wait until summer, I also provide ideas that are perfect for any season.

I’m sure there’s many of you out there feeling the stress of  students in your household starting school again as well. I have a great idea for a stress buster for your entire family... Fall Fest has come to the rescue for everyone! 

Unfortunately, this will be the last time I’m writing to you as my summer internship wraps up. In the last few months, I’ve had a fantastic time trying new places around downtown Boulder and learning more about the awesome people that make up the Boulder community. I have been fortunate enough to pick up lots of real-world experience while getting to work in our beautiful downtown district. 

Last week I finally attended the event I have been excited about all summer, Bands on the Bricks. This was the first time I had ever attended an event like this, and I had an absolute blast! I got to see the Eagles cover band, The Long Run, perform. While I didn’t and still don’t know many Eagles songs, the Long Run put on an awesome show that people of all ages enjoyed! 

Tomorrow is the opening day for the annual Boulder International Film Festival (happening all weekend downtown)!

Are you ready to play in the snow, drink hot cocoa from an IV and wear comfy clothes? Good news for you, it’s wintertime AND downtown Boulder has a TON of events to get you in the holiday spirits starting November 24 throughout the season.

It’s that time of the year, folks… Pearl Street Arts Fest! The vibrant and exciting event starts this Friday, July 19th at 3 pm with a special 14th Street Artists Preview then lasts all weekend.

In case you didn’t know, the 4th of July is this Thursday and I’m here to inform you of all the activities and celebrations happening this week so you can celebrate to the fullest!

Wintertime on the Pearl Street Mall is one of the most beautiful times of the year. The bricks dusted in snow and the sleepy atmosphere of the mall make for a scene that looks like it belongs on a postcard. While many believe the prime time to enjoy downtown Boulder is during the warmer seasons, winter offers many fun, cozy, indoor activities that everyone can enjoy.

Summer is almost over, and school will soon be back in session, so I’ve decided to come up with a list of 5 things I need to experience before this summer slips away.

I was recently recruited for some intern labor outside the office walls to help with the Bands on the Bricks. I was fortunate enough to have my first experience working Bands on the Bricks during the Hazel Miller Band.

Downtown Boulder’s premier summer music series, Bands on the Bricks kicked off last week, celebrating its 20th anniversary! In the approaching week, Last Men On Earth will be blessing the bricks on the 21st with a plethora of classic cuts from the 70s 80s and 90s.
