See you around, Downtown!

Hey Downtown!

When I started working at the Downtown Boulder Partnership last May, I had no idea that this experience would leave me with so many amazing memories, the opportunity to connect with awesome Boulder locals & professionals and a newfound love of all that downtown has to offer!

The best part of this experience was engaging and connecting with the amazing people of downtown Boulder. You will never meet such a fun, hardworking and dedicated group of people! So much work goes on behind the scenes of facilitating a beautiful and engaging downtown district and it was an incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business! It was also such a great experience to connect and interact with all the local business owners and community members. We truly have such a great community here in Boulder and it was such a great experience to witness it firsthand.

Thankfully, I still have the spring semester of my senior year left to enjoy all that downtown Boulder has to offer! You’ll find me grabbing dinner with my friends at Hapa’s late-night happy hour or enjoying lunch at my favorite spot, Organic Sandwich Company. I also love to stop in at some of my favorite shops, Apocalypse, Free People and Two Hands Paperie

In my opinion, one of the best parts of downtown is how many amazing coffee shops we have here. Whether you need to get some studying done, want to enjoy a drink with friends, or just need a little pick-me-up, there is no shortage of options downtown. Some of my favorites include Ozo Coffee Company, Creature Comforts Cafe, Bitty & Beau’s Coffee and Trident Booksellers and Cafe.

Some of my favorite memories include helping with all things marketing for Bands on the Bricks, Downtown Boulder’s summer concert series. I always feel like downtown is the most vibrant in the summer and this event truly demonstrates that with all the amazing artists and musicians who join us downtown all summer long. Something I will never forget was witnessing Tube to Work Day! It was hilarious to watch hundreds of the people in the Boulder community put on their silliest costume and hop on a tube to float down the Boulder creek and head to work.

Overall, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be with downtown Boulder for both the summer and fall seasons of 2023! It was such a valuable experience and I am so thankful for all the knowledge and career advice my amazing mentors gave me!

See you around!
