A Day at the Office with Art Source International

Katie Olson is making a name for herself as a business woman and leader in the downtown Boulder community. George Karakehian's little girl is grown up and taking the lead in the family business at Art Source International working along side George on a day-to-day basis!   Katie also serves on the Downtown Boulder Partnership Board of Directors. As a Boulder native, Katie has grown up in the business and in downtown. She love the diversity and the character of the mall and enjoys sharing its rich history with locals and visitors. 

It’s so wonderful to work downtown and be able to walk out the “office” and take advantage of the downtown businesses in the area.

I'm usually so busy during the day that there’s not much time for a long lunch – so I might go with a classic like Falafel King! Not fancy but delicious.

When I do get time, I love the “old Boulder” stores – the ones that have been around forever. Boulder Book Store, Into The Wind, Pedestrian Shops and Art Source of course! When it comes to buying gifts for the holidays, I definitely frequent Bliss, Savory Spice Shop and Athleta!
