With the start of October this week lots of new things are happening around downtown Boulder. One of these new and exciting things is the opening of Rosetta Hall.
Located on 1109 Walnut Street, the new food hall will have 10 restaurants and 2 bars in their building. There will be open seating available, and reservations can be made for group bookings in The Crown Mezzanine or on their Rooftop Lounge. This delicious new place is brainchild of Donovan Green and his partners.
The background behind this food hall is quite interesting. Over the past two and a half years more than fifty independent chefs have competed for a spot in Rosetta Hall. A panel of local judges determined which of these chefs would have a home in the food hall - and the options are diverse! Each of the 10 restaurants situated in Rosetta Hall are a different type of cuisine including: West African, New American, French, Handcrafted Patisserie, Asian, Italian, Mexican and a Raw Bar. The full list of restaurants available at Rosetta Hall can be accessed here.
Another cool fact about Rosetta Hall is that all of these independent restaurants are partnered with top Colorado local farmers that provide them with highly sustainable ingredients.
Rosetta Hall will be open 7 days a week from 8am until late, and will offer free WiFi.
One of the places that I am most excited to check out is The Ginger Pig which is Asian Street Food. The Ginger Pig has selections such as Pork Char Siu, which is chinese bbq pork shoulder with thai jasmine rice and chinese smashed cucumber salad. I am drooling just thinking about this yummy dish! I cannot wait to go here with my friends to try food from their 10 options - and with the comfort of knowing that there is truly something for everyone! Happy Eating,
