In this 8 week course, we will begin to understand the tastes and flavors that affect the recipes we are creating and can make or break a good meal! This class will highlight the essential elements of taste. We will travel the globe, each week focusing on a specific flavor profile. Salty, Picante, Sweet, Tangy, Aromatic, Herbal and Bitter.
We will work on fully composed dishes gaining a better understanding of the complexities of recipe development and our enjoyment of food. This is one of the staff favorites, and seems to be a kid favorite too. You will be begging your kid to make you dinner after this!
Ages 6-13! (If you have a 5 year old who is in kindergarten who would like to join, they are welcome as long as they have completed some school)

Week 7: Bitter
Sauteed Broccoli Rabe with Pancetta and Orecchiette

Week 8: Friends + Family Showcase
Each kid may invite 2 guests to their friends and family showcase, where the kids and our chef will create some of the recipes they've learned this series for their friends and family to try!
Our final week will be November 7th and we will skip the week of Halloween!
