Yin + Sound Healing for Sophie's Neighborhood
With Jac R.
Friday, February 28 — 7:15pm-8:30pm

Description: Join Yoga Pearl teacher, Jac Rodgers, for a special Yin + Sound Healing Benefit for local nonprofit Sophie's Neighborhood, in honor of Rare Disease Day. Bathe in the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls while comforted by the props and shapes of yin yoga.
We are encouraging participants to come dressed in Zebra print or black and white to represent the official symbol of rare diseases, the Zebra!

About Sophie's Neighborhood:
Sophie’s Neighborhood is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) founded in response to Sophie Rosenberg’s diagnoses of an ultra rare disease, Multicentric Carpotarsal Osteolysis (MCTO). Sophie is a friend to the community, and daughter of local restaurant owners, Hosea and Lauren Rosenberg of Blackbelly & Santo. She is one of ~50 people in the world identified with MCTO, a rare, progressively crippling genetic bone and kidney condition. There is currently no treatment or cure that will stop the disorder from its path of destruction. This organization was formed in 2020 to change that, and your support can make a difference - come by and find your inner Zebra* Zen on Rare Disease Awareness Day.

FUN FACT: The zebra* is the official symbol of rare diseases, noted for its unique black and white stripes. Everyone has their own stripes, and characteristics, that make us all distinct and special. We welcome you to choose to dress in Black & White or stripes, in harmony for the occasion.

Price: $32
*if you would like to donate an additional amount, we will have ways to donate at check in so please come early.
