Downtown Boulder Spring Window Painting Program
Saturday, April 15, 2023* | 10 am - 6 pm | Various Downtown Businesses

Join your friends and peers for a day of painting and fun!
To wrap up Boulder Arts Week (April 7 - 15, 2023) and lead into the Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival, Downtown Boulder Partnership (DBP) is hosting the Spring Window Painting Program. Modeled after a popular window painting event that happens every fall in downtown Lafayette, K-12 students are invited to adorn participating business window fronts with spring-themed (think flowers and nature scenes) paintings.

Check-In & Window Assignments
On Saturday, April 15th, you will receive your window assignment (a map with your number circled), basic supplies and the add-on supplies (if purchased) upon check-in at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center (1303 Pearl Street) between 9 -10 am.
Please review the instruction sheet carefully before beginning your painting and make sure that your window assignment number matches the number on your pre-taped painting area. Please go inside the business when you arrive and introduce yourself.
Paintings will stay on business windows until Mother's Day and will be removed shortly thereafter. All paintings must be completed within the 10 am - 6 pm time frame on Saturday, April 15th. A few artist mentors will be walking around to paint sites and assisting painters throughout the day. We recommend that parents please supervise younger participants throughout the painting process. If you have any questions you can stop back by the Visitor Information Center or call 303-417-1365.
