Hey Downtown, it’s DBP Intern Kate!
Lucky for us, downtown Boulder is one of the most picturesque places in the country, making it easy to capture a great photo anywhere you go! For me, there are specific spots within downtown that truly stand out as the most 'Instagrammable’ and lucky for you…I’m going to share them. Whether you're a local looking to show off your beautiful city or a visitor wanting to make some digital memories, these four spots are must-visits!
1. Starting off with some of the most unique architecture in Boulder, is the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. Both inside and out, this spot has the color, the charming ambiance and the ideal lighting for the perfect photo. The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, is perfect for a more formal attire, where you may want to show off your best outfits in your classiest style.
2. If you want a more casual location, look no further than the local Boulder Creek. If you're looking to take a swim and capture an action shot, lounging on the rocks with some friends, or sticking to the grassy park, every part of the creek is the perfect backdrop for your aesthetic Instagram posts. Just a short walk off the bricks, takes you to a completely different atmosphere to explore!
3. Maybe it's nighttime and you just finished dinner and or you are going to catch a show, don't miss the Boulder Theater! Its iconic illuminated sign is eye-catching from blocks away. Bringing a retro feeling to downtown that is unmatched. Beautiful in both the daylight and nighttime, get your vibrant photos in front of the Boulder Theater.
4. Last, but certainly not least, rooftop photos in downtown always guarantee an Instagram-worthy shot! Whether it's the stunning Flatirons or a beautiful view of the downtown as your backdrop, you're in for an amazing photo. Plus, downtown restaurant rooftops offer equally Instagrammable food and drinks, adding to the perfect photo! One of my favorites (pictured above) is Rosetta Hall.
This summer, gather some friends for an impromptu photoshoot or snag a selfie at some of downtown Boulder’s most Instagrammable locations. Like I said, wherever you roam downtown the photo is guaranteed to be Instagram worthy!
