President Barack Obama said that we are all "A Nation of Immigrants." This concert will bring some of the musical culture of America's immigrants to the stage. We will honor the beauty of the Ukrainian people and their choral traditions, and feature songs and musicians from China, Mexico, Brazil, the African diaspora, and Europe. Celebrate the stories from our nation's rich tapestry of cultures!

The chorus will be joined by an instrumental ensemble of piano, violin, cello, flute and Mexican death flute, and two percussionists. Personal stories of immigrants from the singers' family histories and from the Boulder area refugee community will also be shared.

A market of food and art from our local refugee and immigrant communities will be available to browse before and after the concert.
