Madelife and several local organizations have partnered to host "Art for Hope," an exhibition and silent auction fundraiser aimed at ending the stigma and raising awareness about substance use disease and providing support to those in need.

The event will run for a month, starting on April 29th, 2023, at 1421 Pearl Street on the Pearl Street Mall and run through May 24th.

The event will feature an art exhibit by William Stoehr, whose paintings explore the impact of substance abuse on individuals, families, and society. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on Stoehr's paintings, as well as those of other local artists and organizations including madelife artists, BVSD students, and more. Additionally, the event will include music, films, guest speakers, and other activities throughout the month-long exhibition.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the work of the benefiting organizations committed to providing resources and services to those in need, and aims to raise awareness about the impacts of substance use disease in our community.

100% of the funds raised during the "Art for Hope" exhibition and silent auction will go towards supporting local nonprofit organizations that provide support and resources to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. These organizations offer counseling, treatment, and other resources to help people overcome addiction.
