Boulder’s Story Slam - “Mask”
Sunday, October 30, 7 PM –Boulder’s Story Slam returns to The Dairy stage for a night of true stories, community, and fun — told by heart, by people from the audience. (Maybe you?!)
This month’s theme is MASK
If you have a true story to tell that is IN ANY WAY related to the word MASK, you’re invited to put your name in the hat. If your name is drawn, you’ll come to the stage and tell your true, five-minute MASK story. (But when we say 5, we really mean 6)
Your story. Not someone else’s. No notes. Must be true.
Did your vampire mask win scariest at the Halloween party?
Did you finally peel off the mask and speak your truth?
Did you get kicked off the airplane cuz you weren’t wearing a mask?
Did you tape your heart back together with masking tape?
Come tell us about it on October 30.
If you don’t have a story, don’t worry! 10 people tell stories. Most people listen and enjoy.
Hosted by Johanna Walker with guest co-host and musician, singer-songwriter Rachel Taulbee, who will round out the night with tunes. See you on October 30th!
Scroll down to watch Nora Burns tell her story “A Game of Horse” below from our Story Slam this summer!
