In Frida's Wings, Danse Etoile Ballet will explore the art and life of this famed artist, a contrast of traditional Mexican culture and her modern paintings. Translating the rich symbolism of her pieces into dance, we'll take a closer look at the many faces of Frida Kahlo, weaving her colorful and complicated life into a creative ballet that pays tribute to one of the most unique and intriguing artists of the 20th century. Performances are at the Dairy Arts Center on June 7th at 7:30 p.m. and June 8th at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets at: https://bit.ly/fridaswings or www.danseetoile.org.
