Details

Impressionism was developed by Claude Monet and other Paris-based artists from the early 1860s, and involves the practice of painting spontaneously outdoors rather than in a studio. Popular subjects were landscapes and scenes of daily life, transformed through the eyes of the artist. Our current Impressionism exhibit guides the viewer into the minds of the creators, allowing us to project our own unique visions onto their art. Gallery Hours: Sun & Mon, 11AM - 6 PM; Tue - Sat, 11 AM - 9 PM. Free.
